7-29-15 Dynamic Upper Body

Strict Press: 10x2 on :45:  I figure that since I use bands for speed bench, why not for pressing
Snatch grip fat bar shrugs: 5x10
Kettlebell clean and press: 3x5 per arm
Pushups: 3x20

7-28-15 Dynamic Lower Body


Today was one of those days that it all worked out for the best, training wise.
My legs were sore from yesterday's run and today was a squat day, so I almost gave in to my excuses to not train today.  I am glad that I got myself under the bar, I had a fantastic day of training.  Pushing through the days that you don't want to train are the most important of all, they are the days that you make the most progress.

500 jump ropes: this is a great warmup and yes fat, old men can jump rope
Reverse Hypers: 3x10
Box Squat: 10x2 with 2 chains per side on :45 
Speed Deads 10x2 on minute

stone carry .4 miles

I don't like this pic since it does not make the stone look as big or as heavy as what it actually is,
well it was really heavy in my world

This is the .4 mile lane that I carried the stone
took about 7 shorter trips to finish the carry
the distance carried decreased as time went on, the biggest issues with the carry was my ability to get the stone in the best carrying/holding position, if I got the stone turned to the best direction I could carry the stone further

EMOMx15: 1 Squat Clean and Jerk, climb 5-10# every minute. Every 5th minute back off the weight and climb again.
