With all the running and training for mud runs that last couple of years I have let my strength slide and the biggest loss has been in my lower back.  Once my low back comes around I think I will make strength gains much quicker than I am currently attaining.

4-8-15

Did what Skip and I referred to as the Trifecta. we stop at three different spots on our run and do some combination of burpees and abs.  Today I did 3 rounds of 5 burpees and 5 butterfly sit-ups.  There is minimal break, if any, during this run stoppage. I am not sure what it was today, but my ankle/heel were hurting during today's run.  I was by myself so there was no trip into the creek since it is deep and flowing too fast to go it alone.  There is a fine line between crazy and stupid.  Skip's one daughter says that we are "Crupid", a combo of crazy and stupid, we wouldn't want it any other way.
