3-7-15

Early morning hike up Ol' Baldy down to barn and back up again.  This was a difficult hike, one step and your foot was on top of ice and next step was through the ice to knee deep in snow.

View from top of Ol' Baldy, worth the effort

Today's food

An early morning pic of my meals that I take to work:  my protein, veggies, and fruit, and a gallon of water.
If I ate like this all the time I would be good to go, the problem is the 7-9 at night time frame.  My 30 year habit of ice cream and pretzels at night kills all of my day's good food choices.

New Day

3-5-15

Today is the first day of a new blog that I hope to use to push myself toward bigger and greater achievements.  My achievements are not measured in trophies or medals, even though they are good for the ego, my achievements are based on pushing myself beyond what others may think of as normal.
I am not alone in this my style of training and am doing the same type of training as many others throughout the world of fitness.  Those of us that train this way tend to be reclusive in our training and just enjoy ourselves for the sake of loving life and reaching our next personal goal.

My goal is to include and with a bit of luck inspire you in my journey back to being a man, instead of the middle-aged lump that I have become.
